The best NBA lineups were missing, but now we have them too. All of the awards for the NBA regular season have been given out, and the only thing left to know is the Finals awards, including the new champion.

There is always news, but the fact that LeBron James has broken a new record stopped being surprising a long time ago. The King continues to make longevity his last argument to become the best player of all time and sneaks into the third-best lineup of the season, adding 20 appearances in the All-NBA teams. This means he has been among the 15 best players in the competition for 20 out of 21 seasons. This is an absolute record that adds to those he already has, as he also holds the record for the most appearances in the first team, with 13 times.

No more comment.

The remaining names did not come as a surprise. Nikola Jokic, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and Luka Doncic have been selected for the first All-NBA lineup, which is unsurprising considering they are the top three in the MVP voting. Jokic won MVP for the third time in his career, while Doncic continues to excel, making his fifth consecutive appearance in the lineup since winning Rookie of the Year in his first season. The other players in the top five are Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jayson Tatum. Doncic is the only one among them still competing in the playoffs and has a chance to win a championship.

In the second lineup, we have two players who could have easily made it into the first lineup: Jalen Brunson and Anthony Edwards. Both players have delivered legendary individual performances and sublime seasons. However, there is limited space in the list of the most outstanding basketball players in the North American competition for the 2023-24 season. Alongside them is Anthony Davis, who has performed at a brilliant level. Also, we have Kevin Durant and Kawhi Leonard, two veterans who make it into the top ten but could have been positioned further back. The playoffs are ongoing, and the only player from this group still competing is Anthony Edwards, the vocal leader of the Timberwolves.

In the third lineup, we find LeBron, who is placed in this group despite averaging 25.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 8.3 assists. These numbers could have easily put him in the higher groups. However, the change of era is evident, and the past legends have to make way for the new ones. Nevertheless, this hasn’t stopped LeBron from setting new records. He continues to perform at a high level. Joining him in this lineup is Stephen Curry, another exceptional player who continues to excel despite the passage of time. The lineup is completed by Domantas Sabonis, Devin Booker, and Tyrese Haliburton. And that’s it for the awards, for now, at least.
