Travis Kelce had a fantastic game on Sunday, securing 12 out of 13 targets for 179 yards and scoring a touchdown, helping the Chiefs win 31-17 against the Chargers. Kelce was the game’s star player, leading the team in receptions, receiving yards, and targets.

He set a new career high for a half, with 142 receiving yards in the first two quarters. Although quieter in the second half, he still put up season-best numbers. This is the first time Kelce has recorded back-to-back 100-yard games in the 2023 season. The Chiefs will face the Broncos in Week 8 on the road.

Lamar Jackson

Lamar Jackson had an outstanding game on Sunday against Detroit, completing 21 out of 27 passes for 357 yards and scoring three touchdowns. He also ran for a seven-yard touchdown on the team’s first offensive possession and added nine rushes for 36 yards. Jackson’s performance was awe-inspiring as he faced one of the league’s better defenses. He didn’t rely solely on touchdowns for his success, as he also recorded his first 300-yard passing game since Week 5 of the 2021 season. Jackson’s next challenge will be against Arizona in Week 8, and he will have an excellent opportunity to continue his impressive form.
