From Ben Stiller to Timothée Chalamet: The biggest Knicks fans in Celebrity Row at MSG
The New York Knicks take on the Indiana Pacers for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals and there’s sure to be some famous faces in attendance.

For the first time in 25 years, the New York Knicks will compete in an Eastern Conference final. Not since the 2000 NBA season has New York had a representative at this stage of the playoffs and the city’s A-list sports fans are making the most of it.
The Knicks take on the Indiana Pacers at Madison Square Garden for Game 1 on Wednesday evening. The Knicks sprung a major upset by defeating the reigning champions Boston Celtics in the last round and they have built some real momentum on this historic run.
They have built an impressive list of celebrity fans, too, with an astonishing group of stars in attendance for their Game 6 victory. Director Spike Lee and actors Ben Stiller and Timothee Chalamet are all well-known Knicks fans and were all at MSG for the famous win.
Chalamet, who has taken girlfriend Kylie Jenner to multiple games during this run, was seen alongside Bad Bunny for the Boston win. Comedian Tracy Morgan was also there, sitting beside rocker Lenny Kravitz. Earlier this month Cardi B and Stefon Diggs made their first public appearance together as a couple at a Knicks game.
Also from the world of music, New York native Fat Joe was donning Knicks colors with a blue and orange scarf wrapped around his head. Rapper Ice Spice was also there at MSG and brought her NFL partner Sauce Gardner too.
He was not the only football star who witnessed the win. Russell Wilson joined the New York Giants this offseason and is already getting to know the city’s sporting life. Speaking after the Game 6 win, Russell said that the Knicks’ great run has helped him settle in to a new city.
“It’s been a lot of fun being around the Knicks and going to their games at MSG,” Wilson told the New York Post. “The experience of watching and being part of that atmosphere and getting to know Jalen [Brunson] and Josh [Hart] and KAT [Karl-Anthony Towns] and all those guys has been really special.”
“It’s been a lot of fun just feeling like we’re part of New York now, and to be around the other teams, and these great athletes, like my friend Aaron Judge. I’m looking forward to the new season with the Giants.”
