The Bucks’ Greek freak, Giannis Antetokounmpo, is heading into the pivotal Game 7 against the Boston Celtics with a thriving attitude.

Following the Game 6 108-95 defeat against Boston, Antetokounmpo told the media that he sees that game as an opportunity to grow as a player and a team leader knowing that there might be a chance to lose again.

Even though the Game 6 defeat was the first time the franchise had lost in a clinching scenario under coach Mike Budenholzer in nine tries, the 27-year-old shared where his mindset is heading into the decisive match of the series.

Good old Game 7,” Antetokounmpo said with a grin. “Beautiful.”

How Game 6 vs Celtics showed Giannis’s powers

Antetokounmpo went into the last game proving to be one of the strongest closers in NBA history, having the third-highest points per game average. At 31.7, Antetokounmpo comes in third behind only Michael Jordan (34.2) and Allen Iverson (33.3).

The Greek native dropped 44 points on Boston, collecting 20 rebounds for good measure. The last time the NBA playoffs have seen that kind of compound was in the 2001 NBA Finals when Shaquille O’Neal had the same combination in Game 1.
