Golden State Warriors complete preseason schedule: dates, times, opponents...
The Golden State Warriors will soon play their NBA preseason games, but when will that be? And against which teams?
The Golden State Warriors will be heading to the 2023-24 NBA season as one of the main favorites to win the Championship. They have kept their key players -Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green-, although Jordan Poole has left the franchise in a trade for Chris Paul.
Moreover, some interesting players such as Usman Garuba and Daniel Saric have joined the Warriors, so it will be interesting how they adapt to the team.
Golden State, who will be looking to become the NBA champions for an eighth time, were kicked out of the competition by the Los Angeles Lakers during last campaign’s postseason.
Steve Kerr’s men lost to their Californian neighbors in the second round of the playoffs in six games, with Steph Curry being unable to make the difference this time against a solid team led by Lebron James.
Warriors preseason schedule and opponents
The Warriors had a negative Summer League, as they lost six of the seven games they played, so they will be looking to give a better image and get back to winning ways as soon as possible.
Once the Warriors’ training camp is over, they will meet the Lakers again. After meeting in the Summer League, where the Lakers emerged victorious, they will play against each other in their first preseason matchup on Saturday, October 7. After that, the Warriors will travel to Los Angeles to face Darcin Ham’s men again on Friday, October 13.
Kerr’s team will then take on Sacramento at Golden 1 Center on October 15, and they will return home to Chase Center and host the Kings on Wednesday, October 18.
Curry & co. will close out the preseason schedule vs. the San Antonio Spurs on Friday, October 20, in San Francisco.
