Golden State Warriors’ Steph Curry joins Paramore on stage to sing a song but was he any good?
The Golden State Warriors star appears to have better range than we previously thought after he showed off his vocal range at Paramore’s recent concert.
It appears there really isn’t anything Steph Curry can’t do. From three-point records on the court to hole-in-ones on the course, and now most recently the Golden State Warriors talisman has shown us that he can sing as well.
Steph Curry surprises fans with a song at Paramore concert
It’s hard not to like the Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry. From his happy-go-lucky attitude to the respect he shows one and all, and that’s before we get to the fact that he makes being arguably the best 3-point shooter in NBA history look easy. A two-time MVP and four-time NBA champion, ‘Chef Curry’ as he’s known to fans is a cut above most others. Yet what many might not know about the Warriors superstar is that he can actually hold a tune. In fact, he can do more than that as fans at a recent Paramore concert found out on Monday night when Curry himself took to the stage during the band’s performance at the Chase Center and then proceeded to sing “Misery Business” with the group.
As one can see from the video above, the band was loving it. Indeed, one of the guitarists could be seen grinning from air to air when Curry started to sing, while lead singer Haley Williams couldn’t hide her shock when the 3-point hitman started to belt out her lyrics. As for the man himself, while his tone was surprisingly good, it was his stage presence which was worthy of acknowledgment. Yet, this is the same Steph Curry who is more than accustomed to giving thousands of fans at the Chase Center exactly what they want each and every season. That’s to say one has to imagine that the idea of stage fright doesn’t exist in his world. Nonetheless, singing isn’t scoring on the court, so there is that.
Is there a partnership in the works for Paramore and Steph Curry?
Though we imagine it would sell out, there’s been no official indication that Curry and Paramore will be joining forces in the future. With the band heading to the Pacific Northwest to continue its tour with performances in Washington and Oregon, and Curry set to begin preparation for the coming 2023-24 NBA season, the logistics of it all seem tough to figure out. Ultimately, though we’re sure Warriors fans appreciated the moment, they’re almost certainly more interested in how Curry and Co. will go about righting the wrongs of this past campaign when they fell to the Los Angeles Lakers in the playoffs. With that said, we can’t help but wonder what he’ll be listening to as he gets back to work.
