Miami Heat’s guard, Vincent Gabe, showed remarkable strength as he played in Game 6 despite suffering from an injured ankle. Despite being considered questionable for the game, Gabe’s determination allowed him to contribute to Miami’s valiant effort, even though they lost 104-103. Gabe started the game and played for over 41 minutes, scoring 15 points and securing 4 rebounds.

Gabe sustained the injury during the fourth quarter of Game 4, which kept him from playing in Game 5. Unfortunately, Miami lost both of those games after a dominant performance in the first three games of the best-of-seven series.

Miami Heat’s inability to close out the series on three separate occasions has denied Gabe the opportunity to rest and recover from his ankle injury. The Heat now face the potential of becoming the first NBA team to lose a best-of-seven series after gaining a 3-0 lead.

NBA:

Despite the setback, Miami Heat showed tremendous basketball in the fourth quarter of Game 6, managing to take a one-point lead with just 3.0 seconds remaining, thanks to three crucial free throws by Jimmy Butler. However, Derrick White’s buzzer-beating putback off a missed shot by Marcus Smart denied them victory.

As they head into a pivotal Game 7, having Gabe perform close to full strength would undoubtedly boost Miami’s chances of securing a spot in the NBA Finals against the Denver Nuggets.

Unfortunately, Tyler Herro remains sidelined after his hand surgery. He is without the protection cast but still not ready to play as Miami navigates its playoff journey striving to overcome the odds.
