The Boston Celtics and the Miami Heat are facing off in Massachusetts for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Monday night. The Heat have a 2-1 lead in the series after a 109-103 Game 3 win on Saturday night in Boston.

The Celtics have at least a couple rotation players listed on the injury report, including Jayson Tatum, who is listed as probable.

Marcus Smart (right ankle sprain) and Robert Williams III (left knee soreness) are both questionable, while Sam Hauser continues to be out (shoulder injury).

How did Jayson Tatum get injured?

The 24-year-old suffered a neck injury late in the fourth quarter of the Celtics’ Game 3 loss to Miami on Saturday after colliding with their guard Victor Oladipo. It was instantly clear that Tatum was in pain, eventually making his way out of the game. Tatum did return despite what looked like a rough injury, but only scored 10 points on 3-for-14 shooting while adding six turnovers. .

Boston will hope Tatum and the rest of the rotation players are healthy ahead of the game at TD Garden, which will kick off at 8:30 p.m. ET.

The two teams faced off in the 2020 ECF, and Miami won that series to proceed to the NBA Finals, so we’re most certain the Celtics, with or without Tatum, will be giving it their all against the Heat on Monday night.
