Jokic makes history in NBA playoffs
Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic made history in Game 2 of the NBA Finals by becoming the first center to do this in NBA playoff history.
During Game 2 of the NBA Finals between the Denver Nuggets and Miami Heat, Nuggets star Nikola Jokic made history. He became the first center in NBA history to record 500+ points and 100+ assists in a single post season.
Not only that, but Jokic also became just the third player in NBA postseason history to put up 500 points, 200 rebounds, and 150 assists in a single playoff run. The only other players to have done so were LeBron James (2015-18, 2020) and Larry Bird (1987).
The Nuggets lost Game 2, 111-108, to put the series at a 1-1 tie, but Jokic was no less intense than ever. He put up 37 points, ten rebounds, and three assists while shooting 56% from field goal range and 40% from the three-point range.
