The Los Angeles Lakers won Game 4 of the first round of the playoffs against the Denver Nuggets. LeBron James played a substantial role in leading the team to victory, which helped them avoid a ‘sweep’ against the NBA champions from Denver.

With this win, LeBron James avoided being eliminated in the initial round of the 21st postseason of his career.

But a revealing fact shared on social networks recalled that the legend of the Chicago Bulls, Michael Jordan, was swept in the first round of the playoffs. He was part of the team that fell at the start of the 1986 and 1987 postseason against the Boston Celtics, who looked unstoppable.

  • Both of Jordan’s ‘sweeps’ were the only ones suffered in his time in NBA basketball.

James played a pivotal role in the team’s victory against the Nuggets, scoring 30 points and breaking a streak of 11 losses. On the other hand, LeBron has an impressive playoff record with an average of 28.4 points per game, 9.0 rebounds, and 7.2 assists. However, he has lost three series in a sweep, including two NBA Finals and one Conference Finals.
