Michael Jordan’s mansion hits Airbnb: here’s how much a night costs
The former Bulls star’s Highland Park estate features nine bedrooms, a basketball court, and an eye-watering nightly price tag.

Ever wondered what it might be like to live like Michael Jordan for a day? Well, you (almost) can, as the NBA legend’s former mansion is available to rent on Airbnb.
The property is located in the suburban city of Highland Park, about 25 miles north of downtown Chicago, where Jordan spent 13 seasons playing for the Bulls. MJ purchased the land in 1991 and moved into the completed home three years later.

Once valued at $29 million, the mansion went up for sale in 2012 but remained on the market up until 2024, which resulted in the estate’s price tumbling dramatically. Eventually, Nebraska businessman John Cooper snagged the property for “just” $9.5 million in December last year.
According to Zillow, the seven-acre estate includes the 56,000-square-foot mansion with nine bedrooms and 19 baths (15 full), a putting green, tennis court, cigar lounge and a regulation-sized basketball court.
Jordan’s former mansion has become something of a tourist attraction, including its signature “23” gate, a tribute to the six-time MVP’s NBA jersey number.
