After losing to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round of the best-of-seven series, the Memphis Grizzlies are going to try to avoid falling down once again to the wolves.
Game 1 between Memphis and Minnesota was a big surprise to many as the Timberwolves were able to upset the high-seeded Grizzlies who had just won their division title in the franchise’s history.

Ja Morant, who is certainly a cornerstone for Memphis, scored 32 points and eight assists in the game, but couldn’t equal the Wolves’ Anthony Edwards, who led the way for Minnesota with 36 points. Additionally, Karl-Anthony Towns scored another 29 points and 13 rebounds, only to help the Timberwolves finish with a 130-117 victory.
Now, the Grizzlies will seek to even up the series in Game 2 before going off to Minnesota for two consecutive games.
