As the September 8th launch date gets closer, more details about NBA 2K24 emerge. Along with cover reveals and initial player ratings for prominent athletes, a new gameplay trailer dropped on Tuesday, showcasing the innovative ProPlay feature.
What is ProPlay?
ProPlay sets a new standard by incorporating complete move sets and player mannerisms from actual NBA game footage. The trailer prominently features a comprehensive dribble sequence executed by Kevin Durant. A side-by-side comparison underscores the striking similarity between Durant’s in-game dribble moves and physical gestures, mirroring those captured in the actual match footage. This alignment aims to deliver the most authentic gameplay experience yet in the NBA 2K series.

Jordan Poole’s scenario unfolds as he calls for an isolation play against his former teammate, Draymond Green, known for an infamous altercation involving a punch to Poole’s face. Poole nails a three-point shot from the wing over Green, adding a playful twist to the gameplay preview.
