The NBA’s annual Draft Lottery will take place on Sunday. Although the actual lottery is conducted behind closed doors, the live TV broadcast reveals the picks. This year, the NBA has changed the date and time of the lottery, so it’s essential to plan accordingly.

Based on their regular season records, the 14 teams that did not make the postseason have all been assigned odds for the No. 1 overall pick.

The Pistons and Wizards have the highest odds of receiving the No. 1 pick, with each team having a 14.0 percent chance. The Hornets have the third-best odds at 13.3 percent, followed by the Trail Blazers at 13.2 percent. The Spurs round out the top five with a 10.5 percent chance. The NBA provides a complete list of odds.

The lottery determines the first four picks in the draft, and the rest of the teams are slotted in reverse order of their record, starting with the fifth pick. Frenchman Alex Sarr, G League Ignite’s Ron Holland, and Serbian guard Nikola Topic are all in play for the first pick. Connecticut’s Stephon Castle, Tennessee’s Dalton Knecht, and Colorado’s Cody Williams, the younger brother of Thunder forward Jalen Williams, are some of the top collegiate talents on draft boards.
