As the NBA’s first-ever In-Season Tournament progresses, the third night of the event is set to feature an exciting line-up of games. The early window will showcase a highly anticipated matchup between Rookie of the Year contenders Victor Wembanyama and Chet Holmgren. Meanwhile, the late-night set will witness a Clippers team, led by James Harden, trying to avoid a 0-5 start against their most dreaded opponent, the reigning champions Denver Nuggets.

However, some of the NBA’s top teams are already facing elimination from the tournament, as two losses will effectively knock them out. The Clippers, Spurs, Pelicans, Mavericks, Pistons, Trail Blazers, and Nets will battle it to keep their hopes alive. Two games between teams with 1-0 group records are set to take place, with the Timberwolves facing the Warriors and the Pacers going up against the 76ers. The winners of these games will be in control of their groups going forward.

The In-Season Tournament is a competition that takes place during the NBA season. It involves dividing each conference into three five-team groups. These groups will play against each other in a group stage format, with matches played on Tuesdays and Fridays throughout November.

During the tournament, the teams debuted their city-edition uniforms. They also play on specially designed courts, adding to the excitement and viewing experience for the fans of the NBA.

Once all five teams in each group have played each other, the top eight teams will advance to the knockout stage, which is scheduled for early December. The top eight teams will include the six group winners and one wild-card team from each conference.
