NBA playoff fashion 2022

The NBA playoffs are all about walking the walk and talking the talk, and that goes for the pre-game fashion as well. Check out some of the best outfits.

Jennifer Bubel

It has become a thing for basketball players to have an eye-catching, stylish outfit to wear before the NBA playoff games. The playoffs are an exciting time, and players have to play their best as well as look their best. The outfits are a statement. The better you look, the better you feel, right? Look cute, play cute? Something like that.

Marcus Smart, Celtics

In the Boston Celtics game two against the Brooklyn Nets, Marcus Smart was definitely making a statement with his outfit. Having just won his first Defensive Player of the Year award, he wore a robe with the Celtics colors and “DPOY” on the back. The Celtics are 2-0 on the series.

Steph Curry, Warriors

Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry wore a long baby blue coat before game one against the Denver Nuggets. The Warriors are 2-0 in that series so far.

Ben Simmons, Nets

Ben Simmons was rocking a patterned sweater and Lous Vuitton bag ahead of the Nets game two against the Celtics. Simmons has been out all season with an injury, but could return for game 2 or 4 for the Nets. They could use the help as they’re 0-2 in the series so far. In the meantime, at least he’s lookin’ good.

Tyrese Maxey, 76ers

The Philadelphia 76ers had quite a few notable outfits ahead of their first game of the series against the Toronto Raptors. Tyrese Maxey wore a tribute to Allen Iverson. Maxey wore number 3 all his life before he was drafted by the Sixers. That number was retired in honor of Iverson, so Maxey decided to wear a shirt with the number and photos of the Sixers legend himself. The Sixers are leading the series 3-0.

Does how you dress before the game really affect performance on the court? Probably not, but it never hurts to try and it’s always nice to look good.
