NBA trade rumors: Who are the players most likely to move before the deadline?

The NBA trade deadline is near and teams and players are looking to make changes that could benefit them or set them free.

Kyrie Irving pide su salida de Nets; Lakers y Mavericks entre los interesados

With less than a week to go before the NBA trade deadline, the market has gotten a big boost and, in some sense, its own inflation problem after Brooklyn star Kyrie Irving decided to send his trade request to the team’s front office.

This Friday, ESPN broke the news that the polemic PG had communicated to the team his intention to leave the city of New York and take his talents elsewhere. At the beginning of the season, the guard opt-in on his option, and there have been talks about renewing his contract, but that all came to a halt after the star told the team of his intention.

But Irving is not the only one on the move. Teams are on the prowl for new blood, and the market is just getting good. Among the teams looking to get the most, they can is the Philadelphia 76ers. The sixers are said to be looking to acquire a couple of players to help Embiid and Harden.

Who are the most likely moves coming up in the NBA trade deadline?

Kyrie Irving: The most notable name of all. The ex-Cavs isn’t happy with his team. He could move to the Mavs and the Suns, but he seems to be more interested in a move to the Lakers.

Jae Crowder: Unfortunately, progress toward reaching an agreement with the suns has been slow. He wants a multi-year contract extension, and the Suns want a quality player in exchange for a possible trade.

D’Angelo Russell: The guard is nearing the end of his contract and could be a valuable trade asset.

Fred VanVleet: This might be an interesting one. There is speculation of a possible trade since his contract ends this season, and the Raptors could look to make some moves for the player.

DeMar DeRozan: The Bulls’ best player can be the best card for the team to fix a horrible season. The once-thought-to-be contenders are struggling this season, and trading him might be an excellent chance to get some picks to reconstruct.
