The NBA has confirmed new dates for two rearranged games, including the much-anticipated meeting between the San Antonio Spurs and the Los Angeles Lakers after the disruption caused by the California wildfires.

The Spurs will travel to the Lakers on March 17, in the middle of a brutal stretch for San Antonio. The Spurs lost to the Lakers on January 12 and will have to travel back to LA for a third game in three days in March. The Spurs are already playing the Charlotte Hornets on March 14 and the New Orleans Pelicans on March 15, before the March 17 trip to the Lakers.

The Spurs are also dealing with the temporary absence of head coach Gregg Popovich, who is currently out of action due to health issues. His assistant, Mitch Johnson, has been interim head coach while he’s away.

“Mitch did a great job,” said Spurs point guard Chris Paul after beating the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday. “Things happen within this league all the time, and just like with players it’s ‘next man up.’ So shout out to Mitch.”

The other rearranged date announce on Tuesday was the Milwaukee Bucks-New Orleans Saints match-up that was postponed due to the snowstorm in New Orleans. That game is now scheduled for April 6, when the snowstorm risk will be greatly reduced.
