New Luka Doncic x Jordan Brand basketball shoe set to drop next month
Jordan Brand will release the Doncic inspired Luka 4 and Luka .77 along with a apparel range inspired by the Slovenian star.
Luka Doncic’s move from the Dallas Mavericks to the Los Angeles Lakers caused a seismic reaction in the world of basketball with Anthony Davis moving to Texas.
Playing alongside veteran legend Lebron James, Doncic fitted into the team quickly and helped push the Lakers to the upper echelons on the Western Conference before an untimely injury sustained by LeBron in Boston saw the team stumble.
To coincide with his move to LA, Doncic debuted his fourth signature Jordan Brand basketball shoe against his old team.
The Luka 4 features an evolution of Jordan Brand’s technology, the IsoPlate Nike Zoom Air unit which has been made exclusively for the Slovenian.

The 26-year-old claimed: “The Luka 4 is made exactly for my game, giving me a new tool to help me play my best and push my performance,” adding, “the IsoPlate really helps me with my balance and my step-backs, the Zoom Air unit adds a new level of responsiveness, and the Cushlon 3.0 midsole makes this a very comfortable shoe.”

A colorway inspired by Luka’s love of fishing, boating, and the outdoors.
The term “gone fishing” is also a play on words with Luka sending home teams in the playoffs.

Jordan Brand’s Luka 4 and Luka .77 (a companion shoe release aimed at a younger demographic and designed for outdoor sue) will be available globally on April 8. A new Doncic inspired apparel range (hooded top, t-shirts, shorts) from Jordan Brand will be also released in early May.
