Rae Burrell to the Fever? Caitlin Clark post sparks fan speculation
An Instagram exchange between Indiana Fever’s Caitlin Clark and free agent Rae Burrell got fans talking, and dreaming, about a union.

Could Rae Burrell be headed to the Indiana Fever? That’s the question some fans are asking after a recent social media interaction involving Caitlin Clark quickly gained attention.
The moment between Clark and Burrell that got fans talking
Clark recently shared a sponsored Instagram post, showing off a Prada bag following her standout performance with Team USA. Among the responses was a simple but enthusiastic comment from Burrell:
“Strut ittt🔥.”
That brief interaction might not seem like much, but it was enough to spark speculation from Fever fans. The comment section quickly turned into a recruiting pitch from Indiana supporters:
“Come to Indy I promise we’ll treat you good”
“Rae to the Fever would be a nice headline”
“You know where home is. Welcome to the Fever”
“You coming to Indy or what?”

Could Rae Burrell really join Indy?
While there’s no official indication that Burrell is joining Indiana, the speculation isn’t entirely random. She is currently an unrestricted free agent and recently spent time playing alongside Clark with Team USA. The two appeared to build chemistry during international competition.

On the court, Burrell could bring versatility to Indiana’s roster. The 6′2″ wing offers defensive flexibility, length on the perimeter, and scoring depth off the bench or as a complementary piece. As Fever continues to build around Clark, adding athletic wings with two-way potential could be a logical step.
As of now, however, there’s no confirmed link between Burrell and Indiana beyond fan interest and a social media exchange. But that isn’t going to stop fans from dreaming about what a pairing between Rae Burrell and Caitlin Clark in Indiana might look like. And with free agency always full of surprises, it’s an actual possibility.
