Since then, Cleveland Cavaliers (56-10) have recorded 16 straight wins, creating a new franchise record.

On Friday night, the Cavs were in Memphis where Evan Mobley racked up 22 points with 11 rebounds and Darius Garland added 20 points and nine assists to secure the eleventh consecutive road win for Kenny Atkinson’s men.

Cleveland were without leading scorer Donovan Mitchell, who was sidelined with a groin injury for the second game running with the team are in the midst of another incredible winning streak of 12 or more games this season. The Cavs opened the season by winning their first 15 games.

Against the Grizzlies, the Cavaliers were in control quickly and led by 17 at the half and by 25 late in the third quarter. Memphis got to within 13 (114-101) following some solid play from Ja Morant early in the fourth quarter that capped a 9-2 run but it was too little too late for the home side.

Next up for the Cavs is a home game on Sunday against Orlando ahead of five games on the road.
