Lebron James’ son Bronny suffered cardiac arrest during a workout at USC. He is in stable condition and out of the ICU. This could be devastating news for Bronny who was expected to be a first round pick in 2024.
“LeBron and Savannah wish to publicly send their deepest thanks and appreciation to the USC medical and athletic staff for their incredible work and dedication to the safety of their athletes,” the James family said in a statement.
Bronny James announced in May his commitment to play college basketball for the UFC Trojans. He is an incoming freshman and was one of the top high school prospects in the country. He was projected to be drafted in the NBA in 2024.
News shocked the sports world on Tuesday. Athletes, celebrities and other public figures have taken to social media to show their support for Bronny and his family in this difficult time.
