The Dubs are missing their key player, Stephen Curry, who was ruled out for at least seven-ten days due to a Grade 1 left hamstring strain which he sustained in the opening game of the series.
Curry was asked earlier in the week about his return to activity, to which the player simply responded.
“No, this is new, and from everything I’m learning about how quickly you can come back, there has to be a recovery process.”

However, NBA expert Shams Charania offered some new insight relating to Curry’s return to the Warriors team when speaking on the “The Pat McAfee Show”: “Steph Curry has really been limited to just doing the treatment and will be re-evaluated next Wednesday. My understanding is that he could be back for Game 6 at the earliest.”
A possible Game 6 (assuming the match-up is not resolved prior to then) would take place on on Sunday, May 18 at the Chase Center, barring any complications he may encounter during his recovery.
“It’s a hamstring strain, we know that a hamstring strain is not an injury you can play with,” added Charania.
