Sports Illustrated recently named Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry their Sportsperson of the Year, and in an interview they conducted with the awardee, they asked him to choose whom he considers to be the best player in the NBA.

They gave him a choice between LeBron James and Curry himself, and The Chef did not hesitate for a moment:

Steph Curry or LeBron James?”, to which he replied, “What do you expect me to say? Me!" .

Curry: Undeniably one of the best basketball players

The credentials of Curry place him as one of the best players of all time. He is simply the maximum triple scorer in league history and he managed to consolidate the dynasty of the Golden State Warriors with whom he has been crowned as champion four times in the NBA.

Better than Michael

After choosing himself over the Lakers player, the most difficult moment of the questions came: “Steph Curry or Michael Jordan?”, but once again, the player showed confidence.

“Mike, I love you man, but… Me!” Curry finished.

It is worth noting that the point guard gave his answers lightheartedly and in good fun.

Steph has been active since 2009, when he was selected in the NBA Draft by the Warriors in the first round with the 7th pick. For his part, Michael Jordan played for 15 seasons, managed to win six titles, and became one of the main faces of basketball and sports worldwide.
