The Caitlin Clark effect: Check out the dramatic drop in Fever ticket prices since her injury
Indiana Fever star player Caitlin Clark has been sidelined due to a muscle strain.

“Caitlin Clark has suffered a left quadriceps strain and will be out for at least two weeks. Further updates will be provided as available following re-evaluation,” was the brief statement issued by Indiana Fever a few days ago to confirm the news that the team would be without Clark for a few weeks.
This is the first time in her WNBA career that Clark has been sidelined due to injury with her projected return being June 10 when the Fever play the Atlanta Dream.

Fever fall
With the absence of their high profile player, the Fever (2-3) struggled to find their groove and lost 83-77 to the Washington Mystics on Wednesday.
The team now hosts the winless Connecticut Sun on Friday in Indianapolis and the game will mark the Fever’s second without Clark.

Ticket drop off
With the 23-year-old out of action, ticket prices to see the Fever in action have dropped dramatically.
Ticketmaster now offer a game ticket for Friday’s clash against the Sun at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis for as cheap as $6.
TickPick also claim that a ticket to see the Fever in action that would have previously cost $41 with Clark playing would now set fans back just $3.
