Warriors 127 - 104 76ers summary, stats, scores and highlights | NBA
Johnathan Kuminga added another 18, pouring in another fantastic performance. If the starting five can find some consistency and play like they did in Philly more often this could be a dangerous team moving forward. Curry barley had to do anything. He finished the night with 9 points and sat out most of the second half.
The Sixers, meanwhile, slump to their 7th loss in their last 8 and look like a lost team without Joel Embiid. They will have to figure out a way to hang on until he is giving the green light to return, which is going to take at least a month.

Wiggins led the Warriors with 21 and 10 rebounds in the 127-104 win that sends the Sixers spiraling even farther down the Eastern Conference standings.
The visitors got off to a terrible start, shooting just 22% and scoring 15 points in the first quarter, but Klay Thompson was just finding his groove after being benched late in their last game.

WE ARE UNDERWAY FROM SAN FRAN!!!
Sixers starters
The Sixers are going with Paul Reed down low and Jaden Springer on the perimeter as they try to figure out life without Joel Embiid. Maxey, Harris and Obure Jr. are going to have to carry the brunt of the load but they will take help from anywhere they can get it.
Warriors starters
Klay may not be closing every game, but he is starting for Steve Kerr and the Warriors who get Andrew Wiggins back after missing a game, and Draymond Green will play after being listed as questionable coming into the night.
NBA Standings
Taking a look at the standings we see the Sixers falling quickly down the Eastern Conference Standings. They were already sliding before Embiid went down for a long period of time, and now the team that was hanging around 2nd or 3rd place for most of the first half of the season, but now they are sitting in fifth, 7.5 games back from the first placed Boston Celtics. Meanwhile, the Warriors are one of the bottom feeders in the West, sitting in 11th place and currently out of postseason standings. They sit a game and a half behind the 10th placed Jazz who would occupy the final Play-In Spot if the season ended today. They are a full six games back of the Suns who have the final automatic playoff spot in the West.
Time to Maxeymize the moment
Who is going to be the one to step up in Joel Embiid’s absence? Tyrese Maxey is the obvious choice. He’s the second leading scorer and has really thrived with the new role he has been given as Robin to Embiid’s Batman. With Embiid out he now has to play super hero, but what maybe even more important is the Sixers presence inside. Embiid didn’t just score a league leading 35.3 points a game, he’ dragged down 11.3 rebounds, averaged 1.8 blocks and affects even more shots on the defensive end. Paul Reed is going to step up in his role as No. 1 big man for the next month or so.
Klay’s new role?
The signs of the times are taking their toll on Klay Thompson, both physically and mentally. He has been benched during crunch time of the Warriors last few games and his new role has visibly affected him. He was asked what it’s like to be sacrificed at the end of game to make way for some of the young guys on the team, and he was more than sincere in his answer. "You kidding me? Go from, you know, one of the best players ... it's hard for anybody,” said the four time NBA champion. Thompson has dealt with two career threatening injuries, and came back from them to win the Warriors fourth title in 8 years but the wear and tear is starting to show and the Warriors have a young team to build around while looking towards the future.
Sixers last game
It was the Sixers third game without Joel Embiid, and Dallas stars Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving went off in the absence of the reigning MVP. The Mavs needed a win just as much as Philly did, but unlike Philly they got one of their stars back from injury. Kyrie recovered from his sprained thumb and led his team with 23 points and 8 assists. The Sixers kept it close for three quarters, but ran out of steam in the final 12 minutes and were outscored 41-28 as Dallas cruised to a 16 point victory.
Warrior last game
It took the Warriors a little while to get going their last time out. The Brooklyn Nets held Golden State to just 46 first half points, but Steph Curry and company warmed up in the second half. The Warriors shot terribly from downtown, hitting just 4/22 three pointers, but they made up for their poor shooting by dragging down 60 rebounds. Golden State took the lead right before the end of the third quarter and didn’t give it back. Curry had 29 and Johnathan Kuminga had a double double with 28 points.
