Thinking of taking in the NBA’s All-Star weekend in Salt Lake City, but you’re not sure about ticket prices? Look no further. We’ve got you covered with the low down on how much it’ll cost you.

What is the most expensive 2023 NBA All Star ticket?

To be honest, tickets for the NBA All Star game are notable for their price, making it almost impossible for most fans to attend one of the highlight events of the season. To be fair, this is not only limited to the NBA. From baseball’s World Series to the Super Bowl, the stratospheric rise in ticket prices over the past decade has been on everyone’s lips. These events are played in stadiums that seat 80,000 people or more. The basic law of supply and demand means that when you move an event of similar profile into an arena with a capacity just shy of 20,000 then the price will rise accordingly.

Aside from the NBA’s official vendor website, NBAExperiences.com, which offers a variety of ticket packages, there are also a number of sites from which you can purchase tickets such as TicketIQ. Of course, you can get relatively affordable tickets to watch the players in practice sessions, or you can break the bank for the full VIP treatment. At present, the most expensive ticket to see Team Giannis vs Team LeBron on February 19th, is going for a steal at $16,609.00. Incidentally, that’s actually more than $2000 less than tickets for last year’s game. A bargain indeed. In terms of location, these seats will be on the sideline at half court

And what about All-Star Game tickets in general?

So, you’ve decided that you’re going to the All-Star Game, but you’re not about that VIP lifestyle. To be honest, the ‘normal tickets’ aren’t so cheap either, with the cheapest ones going for $709.00 and in general an average ticket price of $1,975.52. These tickets will likely place you in seats that are in the upper levels behind the basket itself.

For those of us without the deep reserves of readily available cash, the humbler seats up top with no pre-game hospitality are probably the best bet. One of the great things about the NBA is that when the venue is smaller, even the cheaper seats are still pretty good. And isn’t that the experience that matters most of all?
