What model are Hawks coach Quin Snyder's glasses?

The former Blue Devils captain and All-American has been making his name in coaching for the last 30+ years, especially in his last two years as Hawks HC.

His first job as a head coach came on June 6, 2014, when the Utah Jazz hired Snyder to be the team‘s head coach. Snyder signed a three-year deal with a team option for a fourth season. He previously collaborated with Jazz General Manager Dennis Lindsey from 2007 to 2010, when Lindsey was with the San Antonio Spurs and Snyder coached their D-League affiliate, the Toros. In 2018, he was a finalist for the NBA Coach of the Year award.

On February 18, 2021, he coached the Western Conference for the NBA All-Star Game, following his team’s 23–5 record.

Snyder resigned on June 5, 2022, after eight seasons with the Jazz, and subsequently, in 2023, he started his job with the Atlanta Hawks.

Bringing back the style to the court

We all remember Pat Riley’s stylish Armani suits from the 1980s when he coached the Lakers and won championships with Kareem, Magic, Worthy, and Byron Scott. His impeccable fashion sense complemented his team’s flair for showmanship.

Forty years later, as the established General Manager of the Miami Heat, Pat now has a contemporary on the NBA sidelines in Quin Snyder, who brings a similar personality to the game.

Snyder, who is 57, even during his time with the Utah Jazz was known for his high-end watches and designer belts. After taking last season off, he returned this year to coach the Hawks, embracing the team’s bold red colors. Just four games in, the former Duke Blue Devil is already making a style statement, especially with his striking red glasses.

Many have been wondering about the brand and model, and thanks to GQ we have them confirmed as the Percey frames from Warby Parker, specifically the raspberry color. These prescription lens frames start at $95 and are made from hand-polished cellulose acetate.

Warby Parker Inc. is an American manufacturer and retailer of prescription glasses, contact lenses, and sunglasses, based in New York City.
