After the Golden State Warriors came back against the Dallas Mavericks to take a 2-0 lead in the Eastern Conference Finals on Friday, the Western Conference Finals resume on Saturday with the series tied at 1-1.
Eastern Finals back in Boston after Celtics win
The Miami Heat were 118-107 winners in Game 1 in Florida on Tuesday, but failed to make their home-court advantage count in Game 2 two days later, as Jayson Tatum’s 27 points led the Celtics to a 127-102 victory at FTX Arena.
The series now goes to Boston’s TD Garden for Games 3 and 4, as the Celtics chase their first Eastern Conference title since 2010.
Miami have been rather more successful in recent years: five of their six conference wins have come since Boston were last top dogs in the East, most recently in 2020.
