The player selected with the 55th overall pick in the last Draft received a rating of 68, the lowest among rookies in the latest edition of the popular game.
Year after year, 2K is responsible for producing the official NBA video game and has now revealed the rookie ratings for the 2024-25 season edition. One of the first-year players who is drawing the most attention is Bronny, LeBron James’ son. The player drafted with the 55th overall pick in the last draft received a rating of 68, the lowest among rookies.
James played four games in the NBA Summer League with the Lakers, averaging 25.1 minutes and posting averages of 8.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.0 assists.
The highest-rated rookies are Zaccharie Risacher and Alexandre Sarr, the first two players selected in the draft. Both the Atlanta Hawks and Washington Wizards players have a rating of 75. Other notable rookies include Reed Sheppard of the Houston Rockets, Stephon Castle of the San Antonio Spurs, and Donovan Clingan of the Portland Trail Blazers at 73.
Dalton Knecht promises to raise his ratings during the year
Dalton, Knecht, the Lakers’ first-round rookie pick, has a 70 rating on the video game ahead of the start of the 2024-25 NBA season. However, the University of Tennessee graduate assured via his social media that he will be 80 by the end of the year. During the Summer League, the 23-year-old forward averaged 21.3 points after hitting three of the 7.7 three-pointers he attempted per game.
