When is Steph Curry returning to Golden State Warriors?
The Golden State Warriors will return to action without their All-Star Steph Curry who continues to recover from a leg injury suffered in early February.
The Golden State Warriors are coming out of the All-Star Break sitting in ninth place in the Western Conference, and it looks like they will be without their future Hall of Famer for at least a few more games.
Curry misses All-Star game
Curry was injured back in early February and was originally ruled out for a couple weeks and diagnosed with a leg injury. He was involved with a clash with Dallas Mavericks guard McKinley Wright IV and was forced to leave the game, and was later diagnosed with tears to his superior tibiofibular ligaments and interosseous membrane as well as a contusion to his left lower leg .
He was originally ruled out for a couple weeks, but was forced to miss the All-Star Game, and after tests on Wednesday he is set to miss another week as he recovers this injured leg back to health for the final month and a half of the regular season.
After the most recent tests, team doctors said the Warriors sharp shooter is “making good progress” and Curry has started to work out on the court, but the team will wait for another week until he is reevaluated.
Warriors @ Lakers on Thursday
This is not the first time that Steph Curry has been sidelined for a lengthy spell. Earlier this season he missed 11 games with a shoulder injury, and the Warriors won just six of those eleven games.
The Warriors return to action on Thursday when they take on the Los Angeles Lakers from Crypto Arena. Then they will be back at home for a three game homestead that will see them host the Rockets and the Timberwolves Chase Arena.
