It has been confirmed that the Los Angeles Lakers are receiving a boost to their squad in the final stretch of the regular season. Two of their players who had previously been out of action due to injury are recovering.

Jarred Vanderbilt and Gabe Vincent are set to return to the court within two weeks. Vincent has been sidelined with a knee injury for most of the season.

Gabe Vincent underwent surgery

The Lakers coach, Darvin Ham, confirmed that the player underwent arthroscopic knee surgery and has been cleared for non-contact activities.

The point guard has only played five games this season, in which he averaged 5.4 points, 1 rebound, and 3 assists with 37.5% effectiveness from the paint and 11.8% from the perimeter.

The Lakers signed Vincent to a three-year deal for $33 million from the Miami Heat last offseason.

Gabe Vincent is expected to remain in the rotation with Spencer Dinwiddie, who was more involved during the injury.
