Los Angeles Lakers’ Juan Toscano Anderson, who has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Nuggets, is still out due to his lingering ankle injury. JTA was listed as questionable coming into the day, but was downgraded to miss his second straight game.

The 29-year-old has proven to be an eager player on both sides of the ball in limited minutes when he has played for the Lakers. In 4 games this season, Toscano-Anderson has averaged 3.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 9.3 FanDuel points. With his determination, one could expect his long-range shooting to eventually level out.

Wenyen Gabriel benefitted from JTA’s absence and saw some extra playing time, which allowed him to come away with his first two defensive stats this season: three steals and two blocks.

While no updates on Anderson’s injury update have surfaced yet, we expect him to play in the Lakers next game on Thursday, Nov. 3 against the Pelicans.
