When will the NBA regular season start again after the All-Star break?
The All-Star Weekend, which took place from Feb. 16-18, has finished, and fans are now waiting for the next National Association Basketball game.
The All-Star game took place on February 18th, and teams and players are currently taking a well-deserved three-day break. From February 19th to 21st, there are no scheduled regular season games, allowing players to rest and recover after a grueling first half of the season. During this brief break, there won’t be any league-wide events, and players can use this time to take some time off before returning to the court.
As the regular season winds down, most teams have between 26 and 29 games left before the playoffs begin. This period is crucial for teams that want to secure their seeding heading into the postseason. Others, especially top contenders in both conferences, are just looking to close the season on a high note and with a full bill of health.
On February 22nd, the NBA action will resume when 24 teams out of the 30 will take the court for 12 games, marking the start of the second half of the season. The following day, February 23rd, another packed schedule with ten total games will be on the program. Fans can expect to see some exciting games, with four scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET, including Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Orlando Magic, Toronto Raptors vs. Brooklyn Nets, Philadelphia 76ers vs. New York Knicks, and Indiana Pacers vs. Detroit Pistons. It’s an exciting time for basketball fans everywhere as teams gear up for the final stretch of the regular season.
