The NBA has announced that Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Pascal Siakam of the Toronto Raptors, and De’Aaron Fox of the Sacramento Kings would take their place in the All-Star Game roster. This will be Siakam’s second appearance in the All-Stars, and the first for Edwards and Fox.

Durant resting until Suns debut
Durant sprained his MCL on Jan. 8 in the Nets’ game against the Miami heat. He was initially expected to be unable to play for around a month. He has since been traded to the Phoenix Suns, and is expected to recuperate from his hurt knee ligament and make his debut with the team after the All-Star Game. The 34-year-old is likely to play alongside Chris Paul and Devin Booker for the first time on Feb. 24.

Williamson aggravates hamstring injury
The Pelicans sidelined Williamson in January after he suffered a hamstring strain in their loss against the Philadelphia 76ers. The 22-year-old is set to be re-evaluated during the All-Star break, and the date for his return is unclear at the moment.
Zion (hamstring strain) will miss additional weeks after re-aggravating the injury.
