LeBron James continues to demonstrate why he is considered one of the best players of all time in NBA basketball by reaching a new milestone in assists. During the last game of the regular phase against the New Orleans Pelicans, the ‘King’ had a brilliant performance.

James closed the night with 17 assists, which allowed him to reach the mark of 11,000 assists. With this feat, he became the fourth player in NBA history to reach said mark.

John Stockton, legend of the Utah Jazz, remains at the top of assists with a monstrous figure of 15,806. Jason Kidd is in second place with 12,091 assists, and Chris Paul, who still plays with the Golden State Warriors, is in third place with 11,890.

In addition to the +11,000 assists, the ‘King’ is the only player to have +40,000 points and has +11,000 rebounds, consolidating a masterful 21st season that places him on the Olympus of this sport.

For 20 years he has finished with +25 points per game, this season he peaked in 3-point percentage; 1st player in NBA history to average 25+ PPG, 8+ APG, 50+ FG% and 40+ 3P% in a season.
