The Philadelphia 76ers continue their west coast road swing tonight against the Golden State Warriors looking to end a three game losing streak. They have been without the reigning MVP Joel Embiid for two of those games, and are hoping to have their big man back for a spotlight match up against Steph Curry and the reeling Golden State Warriors.
Sixers on a three game slide
Embiid was initially ruled out for the game in Denver against the Nuggets in the hours leading up to tip off. While that decision was met with mixed reaction from Nuggets coach Mike Malone, it appears that the injury was a little more troublesome than expected. The Sixers went to Portland and Embiid sat out for a second straight game with a minor injury to his left knee.
Embiid leading league in scoring
Tonight he was listed as questionable, but the MVP will be on the court as they try to snap their three game losing skid. Embiid is on pace for another MVP year, leading the league in scoring with 36 points and had 70 points in the game against the Spurs a week ago.
The Sixers let Embiid warm up before the Warriors game and decided that he was good to go in Golden State.
