2025 NCAA March Madness: Ultimate guide to venues, prices, and how to get tickets
Now that the all-important bracket for the NCAA men’s basketball tournament has been confirmed, here’s what you need to know to get yourself a ticket.

The 2025 NCAA Tournament begins on Tuesday, March 18 with the First Four, a play-in round to decide which four of the lowest-ranked eight teams will make it to the first round proper.
The games will be played across Tuesday and Wednesday this week, with UD Arena in Dayton, Ohio playing host to the action in two double-headers. Fans can buy tickets in sessions, giving them access to two games but these are more expensive. For the First Four round the prices started at $30 but they are now changing hands on resale sites for well in excess of $100.
How much are tickets for March Madness?
Looking beyond the First Four stage, prices get significantly more expensive in the first round proper when the biggest and best-supported teams in college basketball enter the fray.
Tickets for the first round games are going for more than $100 on resale sites with many of the most expensive getting close to $1,000 per person. Currently, tickets for the latter rounds of the tournament are cheaper than the average, owing to the fact that we’re not yet sure which teams will make it through. As of Monday, March 17 tickets for the championship game are available to buy online from $141 each.
This year the Final Four games will be hosted at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas across April 5 and 7. Here’s a look at the full list of venues for March Madness 2025...
