Update:
Baba Miller makes NCAA debut after lengthy suspension

Baba Miller is now a fully fledged NCAA player. The Spanish small forward finally made his debut on Wednesday in the university competition - he played 17 minutes for Florida State in today’s 90-75 defeat to Wake Forest. He joined Florida last summer after impressing with the Spanish national team.

The former Real Madrid forward was unable to make his maiden appearance with a win but at least he has made a start. He clocked 16:53 minutes on court at LJVM Coliseum, finishing with 4 points and 4 rebounds; scoring two 2-point shots and missing two from beyond the perimeter line, to which he added a block and a turnover coming off as a substitute in this first contact with the national championship.

The 18-year-old from Palma, Mallorca was suspended from playing the first 16 competition games, 50% of the regular season, due to a series of trips he made to the United States to train with different universities who were hoping to recruit him. Those trips - travel, hotels and expenses fee, were paid for by the teams, an illegal practice in the American university system. His punishment ended on 7 January.
