Breaking down Bruce Pearl’s lucrative Auburn contract: This is the Tigers' head coach’s salary
NCAA basketball’s top teams face off today in a battle between the nation’s No. 1 and No. 2 teams, both from the SEC. Let’s take a look at Auburn coach Bruce Pearl’s contract

The Auburn Tigers’ HC has turned around the program since his arrival at the university 10 years ago. He took Auburn to March Madness in 2018 after losing seasons his first three years there. The team made it to the second round and the year later reached the Final Four in 2019.
In 2020 the team finished the regular season with a 25-6 record, but couldn’t continue to the NCAA Tournament due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In the past three years the Tigers have made it to March Madness, but without much success.
Speaking about Saturday's matchup with No. 2 Alabama, Bruce Pearl said it would have been hard to predict that the Tide and Tigers would play in the first 1 vs. 2 game in SEC history.
