The worldwide release date for EA Sports College Football 25 is July 19, 2024. For the first time ever, the game will showcase active college football players on the cover.

This marks the first time the company has released a college football video game since 2013, when they stopped making the famous NCAA games.

Let’s remember that EA stopped making the games after they were sued for using the likeness of college athletes. With the new NIL ruling, which allows college athletes to receive money from their likeness, is a game changer for college sports and EA is taking advantage of it. The company successfully negotiated directly with the players, bypassing the NCAA, which is why the game does not bear the NCAA’s name.

Who will be in the cover of EA SPORTS™ College Football 25 and when is the full reveal?

You’ll be able to play the game on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The cover athletes feature some incredible talent, including Colorado wide receiver Travis Hunter, Michigan running back Donovan Edwards, and Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers.

The full review and reveal of the game will be on May 17th. Fans can immerse themselves in explosive gameplay across 134 FBS schools.
