How much do tickets cost for the CFP National Championship game between TCU and Georgia?

You’d have to be a diehard fan, or a diehard fan who’s rich in order to secure a seat in SoFi Stadium on Monday night for the CFP Championship Game.

It took a while to get here, but we’ve finally at the 2022 College Football Playoff National Championship, which is to say history is about to be made. The only question that remains is whether it will be the new boys or the giants of college football.

It’s TCU vs Georgia for College Football’s biggest prize

It’s been quite a year for the No. 3 TCU Horned Frogs and it could yet end with the cherry on top if they can manage to win their first national championship since 1938. Indeed, having watched them win a battle of endurance 51-45 against the No. 2 seeded Michigan Wolverines in a dramatic Fiesta Bowl, it’s hard not to be moved by the magic they’ve displayed. Yet, on the other side of the divide, we’ve got the undefeated and No. 1 seeded Georgia Bulldogs. Ironically, for a team whose name is synonymous with college football glory, the Bulldogs have actually gone 41-years without a national title. With that, the Bulldogs - like the Horned Frogs - now stand on the brink of history.

Though they cut it close against the No. 4 Ohio State Buckeyes in a 42-41 Peach Bowl victory, that’s the past. The present, is such that Georgia can become the first repeat champion in school history, the first repeat champion in the CFP era and the first repeat champion overall since Alabama in 2011-12. That’s pretty heavy if we’re honest. So, if we’ve got you excited enough and you’re now thinking about going to see the big game, as opposed to sitting in front the TV, you’re probably wondering how much will a ticket cost. Let’s take a look.

How much are TCU vs. Georgia national championship tickets?

We’re not going to lie, if you want a seat inside SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on Monday 9th, January 2023, to see TCU vs Georgia in the College Football National Championship Game, it’s definitely not going to be cheap. To be clear, tickets are downright expensive.

At present, the least expensive single ticket to get into the game will run you a calm $772 on TickPick, $833 on Ticketmaster and $836 on SeatGeek. As for where those tickets, which include estimated fees will get you, they’re all allocated to the 500 level - uppermost deck - of SoFi Stadium. Feel like splurging? Prepare to fork out more than $2,000 if you’d like to sit in the lower bowl - 100 level - to get a closer look at the action. In case you’re wondering the cheapest ticket on that level from those aforementioned vendors comes from TickPick and will run you $2,358. Full disclosure, that seat is a 17th row vantage point from behind one of the end zones. Then, there’s the other side of the spectrum, which is for those who really, really love their team and are willing to spend to show it. At the moment, the most expensive seats in the house are a pair of lower bowl seats in the 11th row of a club section, behind one of the sidelines. How much are we talking? $34,526 on SeatGeek. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on Monday 9th, January 2023. Enjoy!
