This is how much Cooper Flagg’s collectible cards are selling for

Cooper Flagg is maybe the best player in college basketball and sports card collectors are already cashing in on some of the Dukies rarest cards.

Update:

The Duke Blue Devils are one of the favorites to take home the title in this year’s NCAA Tournament thanks in large part from their phenom freshman, Cooper Flagg. Flagg is going to be a star for a long time, and card collectors are already looking to cash in on his stardom.

Trading cards making a comeback

Just days after being named the ACC Rookie of the Year, Flagg is getting set for his Big Dance debut as Duke will take on Mount St. Mary’s. He sprained his ankle and was forced to sit for most of the ACC Tournament, but has been given the green light for the first round of the tourney.

Trading cards are making a comeback these days after being the prized possession of kids and collectors alike decades ago. They are back en vogue and Flagg’s cards are fetching quite the pay day.

Flagg is averaging 18.9 points a game, while bringing down 7.5 rebounds and 4.1 assists in his first season at Duke, and was named a consensus All-American. He is projected to go No. 1 in the NBA Draft, if he enters.

Cooper cards flying off the shelves

There are a wide variety of Cooper Flagg trader cards in circulation, and they can range anywhere from 18 bucks all the way into the thousands. The most common cards come at a lower cost, but the most expensive one, according to Ebay, is a 2024 Topps Mcdonald’s All-American On Card Paper Auto worth over $1,200.

Flagg isn’t just a sought after athlete in the card community. He is also an NIL top earner. The freshman is reported to have a $4.8 million valuation, second only to Texas QB Arch Manning.

Flagg and the Dukies tip off their March Madness campaign against Mt. St. Mary’s on Friday afternoon. They are the top seeds in the East regional but they will have to get through a tough group that has Alabama and Wisconsin who both finished the year in the Top 15 in the nation.
