What is Gronk’s net worth? Rob Gronkowski’s endorsements and NFL salary

Widely regarded as the greatest tight end to ever play in the NFL, it would be fair to say that Rob Gronkowski has made some money, but how much?

Having won it all in the NFL, it makes sense that Rob Gronkowski is enjoying his retirement today. Of course, when you’ve earned as much as he has across an accolade-filled career, that tends to be the case. With that, we’re taking a look at Gronk’s net worth and where he’s at today.

A bit about the Gronk

When you look at Rob Gronkowski’s story, it’s hard not to be impressed. Born in Amherst, New York, in 1989 Gronk actually started out playing hockey before becoming a multi-sport athlete in high school. Of course, it wasn’t long before his potential on the football field started to draw attention. From there it was off to Arizona where he became a star before an injury derailed his junior season, something that had a significant effect on his NFL Draft stock. Ultimately, Gronk was selected in the second round of the 2010 Draft by the New England Patriots and what came next was something special.

Across the nine years that he spent in New England, Gronkowski won three Super Bowls, was the NFL’s receiving touchdowns leader in 2011, was named NFL Comeback Player of the Year in 2014, named to four All-Pro First Teams, and made five Pro Bowl appearances and believe us, there’s more. Of course, with that kind of success on the field, there was bound to be success off of it and a whole lot of cash. The question is how much?

What is Rob Gronkowski’s net worth?

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Rob Gronkowski is currently worth an impressive $45 million. In his time with the Patriots, he earned in excess of $53 million in salary, despite the fact that his initial contract was reportedly just $24.7 million. Indeed, it was extra signing bonuses and incentives that pushed his pay up. “I saved it all throughout my whole career, which is very nice,” Gronkowski said during an interview in 2019. “I’m in a great place and that’s where I wanted to be. I mean, I’ve just been told throughout that the NFL is not for long.”

What about Gronk’s endorsements?

In his 2015 book “It’s Good To Be Gronk,” Gronkowski claimed to not have spent a single cent of his NFL salary, but rather lived exclusively off of his endorsement deal money. Regarding how much he earns from endorsements, there are no firm figures, but we can assume it’s tens of millions. Especially when one considers the fact that the 34-year-old has represented brands such as Tide, Nike, Dunkin’ Donuts, Visa, T-Mobile, Lyft, Cheerios, and more. Gronk even saw himself used as the inspiration for a cereal from PLB Sports which released a product called ‘Gronk Flakes’ in 2012 and then followed it up with Gronk’s Hot Sauce three years later. Even Monster Energy got in on the act, releasing a signature “Gronk” flavor in 2016.
