What makes this year’s Final Four unique

The 2026 tournament has delivered one of the most stacked Final Fours in recent memory.

All four remaining teams - UConn, South Carolina, Texas, and UCLA —have been among the most consistent programs in the country this season and are all top seeds. The result is a rare scenario where every semifinal feels like a championship-level matchup.

UConn returns to the Final Four with their championship pedigree, with 12 national titles to their name. Meanwhile, South Carolina continues their run as a modern powerhouse, and Texas and UCLA round out a field loaded with elite talent.
