The Bahamas Bowl celebrates its 10th edition in Nassau with teams from the Mid-American Conference and Conference USA.
The Buffalo Bulls and the Liberty Flames will be battling it out for the Prime Minister’s Trophy in the 10th edition of the Bahamas Bowl in Nassau this weekend.
Both programs have similar bowl game experience. This will be Buffalo’s seventh bowl game - they won their last three, leaving them 3-3. Liberty have taken part in five bowl games since their Cure Bowl triumph in 2019 and have a 3-2 record.
As for more recent form, Buffalo enjoyed a positive season finishing third in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) on 8-4. The Flames ended fourth in Conference USA (CUSA) with an 8-3 record despite being the favorites to win the conference.
Bulls linebacker Shaun Dolac topped the national ranking with the most tackles and picked up the MAC Defensive Player of the Year award as well as becoming the program’s first Consensus All-American.
Buffalo, who won four of their last five games, and in spite of their head-to-head record against the Flames (0-3) are favorites to win at -145 with Liberty at +125.
When is the 2024 Bahamas Bowl?
The 2024 Bahamas Bowl between the Buffalo Bulls and the Liberty Flames will take place at Thomas A. Robinson National Stadium in Nassau, Bahamas on Saturday 4 January 2025 and is scheduled to kick off at 11 a.m. ET / 8 a.m. PT (3 p.m. CT).
The game will air live on ESPN2. Viewers in the United States will be able to stream ESPN’s coverage on Fubo (free trial available).
