Born on February 19th, 1992, to a general contractor and a gym manager, Camille Veronic Kostek, is a very talented woman. Having pursued a career in ballet from a very young age, it was clear that she had an affinity for the arts and before long found herself performing at the Broadway Dance Center in New York. Yet, Kostek also proved she could hold her own on the field as well as she attended Eastern State Connecticut University where she was a member of the dance squad, and the cheerleading team, and even became the captain of the varsity lacrosse team.
She would eventually graduate with a major in Communications and a minor in Business, before moving into professional cheerleading at the age of 19 years old. In 2013, she made a big jump as she became a cheerleader with the New England Patriots, the team for which Rob Gronkowski was playing at the time. Interestingly, just two years later in 2015, she took the decision to retire from cheerleading and almost immediately went to work as the co-host of shows on ABC, CBS, and several Fox-affiliated channels in New England. After primarily covering lifestyle, red carpet, and sports events including the Super Bowl, she would eventually progress into modeling. How did Rob Gronkowski and Camille Kostek meet?
As you can probably guess, it was during Kostek’s time as a cheerleader with the Patriots when she first met Gronkowski. During an interview with SiriusXM, the model revealed that she met Gronk at a Thanksgiving Charity event in 2013 when he was playing for the Patriots. As the story goes, Gronkowski passed his number to her during the event and she called him just a few days later. The pair famously confirmed that they were in fact a couple during an appearance on the orange carpet at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards in 2015. Given that it’s now been eight years since that first public appearance, we’d venture to say this is a couple that’s doing well.
