2023 Christmas Day NFL schedule: Dec. 25th games, time, TV, how to watch and stream

Week 16 of the NFL got underway on Friday night as the Los Angeles Rams posted their eighth victory of the season against the New Orleans Saints, who suffered their eighth defeat. It was the first of a whole host of games scheduled over the Christmas period, which match-going and armchair fans have been equally looking forward to.

Christmas Day NFL triple-header

Not for the first time, this Christmas is all about the NFL. As was the case in 2022, there will again be a triple-header on Christmas Day, with the Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers, the only team to have already secured their division, all in action on the big day. Those three games were preceded by two clashes on Saturday 23 December, while there were no fewer than 10 matchups on Christmas Eve, leaving Boxing Day free.

Chiefs, Eagles and 49ers all in action on Dec. 25th

For most, matchday 16′s standout game is the clash at Hard Rock Stadium on Christmas Eve between the Dallas Cowboys and the Miami Dolphins, which some are even going as far calling a Super Bowl preview.

But Christmas Day looks pretty tasty too, with defending champions the Kansas City Chiefs first up against divisional rivals the Las Vegas Raiders, whose 1-5 away record admittedly doesn’t suggest they’ll have much chance of pulling off a victory at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

Another divisional match-up follows as the Philadelphia Eagles, who reached Super Bowl LVII and will again be targeting the final game of the NFL calendar, host the New York Giants, who have lost six of eight games on the road this season.

The final game on Christmas Day is a repeat of Super Bowl XLVII, with the Baltimore Ravens visiting the San Francisco 49ers. Both teams boast 11-3 records, with the Californians already assured of top spot in NFC West.
