2024 NFL player team report cards published: Categories, grades, passes and fails

For the second consecutive year, the NFL Players Association has released its report cards, grading each of the 32 teams, but not on their record or performance during the post season. Rather, these grades are handed out by the players for the facilities and working conditions themselves.

The team-by-team report cards grade each franchise on an A+ to F- scale on things such as the catering facilities, the treatment of families, and the locker room. Additionally, the coach and staff are handed out the same treatment.

There are a few surprises on the list, such as the New Orleans Saints, a team based in a city widely known for having one of the best culinary scenes in the world, receiving an F, the lowest possible grade, for the Food/Cafeteria category. Similarly, both Los Angeles teams, the Rams and the Chargers received a D and an F respectively in the same category.

The Washington Commanders, widely seen as the worst team in the NFL for player morale, generally scored low in every category but the players gave the new owner a B, indicating that there is hope that things will improve in the capital.

The overall grades see the Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings, Green Bay Packers, Philadelphia Eagles, and Jacksonville Jaguars graded the top five teams in the league.

The Washington Commanders were graded the worst, but perhaps surprisingly, the Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs were ranked number 31 in the league indicating that there may be something rotten in the state of Denmark.

A total of 1,750 players took part in the survey.

The NFL released a statement saying the league and the teams “encourage and solicit player feedback to help improve all facets of their NFL experience. We look forward to getting the opportunity to review the union’s questionnaire, and the data supporting it.”
