Several brands that sponsored Ye, the artist formerly known as Kanye West, or collaborated with him, including Adidas, The Gap and Balenciaga, cut all ties with him after he made several anti-Semitic and other hateful comments. Now, athletes under his wing have flown the coop as well.

West’s sports marketing company, Donda Sports works with some high-profile athletes. However, Los Angeles Rams linebacker Aaron Donald announced that he was ending his relationship with the artist due to the comments he made.

Donald: Ye’s statement run contrary to family’s values

Through a statement, Donald said that he was leaving Ye’s company because those comments are completely contrary to what he and his family believe.

“Our family made the decision to separate from Donda Sports. Recent comments and displays of hate and anti-Semitism are the exact opposite of how we choose to live our lives and raise our children. We consider them irresponsible and go against everything we believe in as a family."

“As parents and members of society, we feel a responsibility to send a clear message that hateful words and actions have consequences and that we must do better as human beings. We do not feel that our beliefs, voices and actions belong to a space that misrepresents and oppresses people of any origin, ethnicity or race.

“We have had the pleasure of working with many amazing people along the way and look forward to continuing to use our platform to encourage and support other families, children and communities through positive outreach,” Donald’s statement said.

Jaylen Brown changes mind, also breaks up with Ye

On Monday, Boston Celtics All-Star Jaylen Brown had assured that he was going to remain in the Donda Sports company even as he stated that he disapproved of the comments made by the rapper. However, he ended up retracting his support for Donda, as he also dissociated himself from Ye’s company.

“I look forward to continuing to provide mentorship, love and support to the incredible children, teachers and young athletes with whom I have been grateful to form bonds and relationships during my time at Donda Academy,” said Brown.

In addition to the athletes Aaron Donald and Jaylen Brown, Kanye’s divorce lawyers are also abandoning him for his racist comments.
